How do you order a driving record with myNCDMV?

To get started, log in or continue as a guest to myNCDMV. Once you arrive at your dashboard, select the Request Driving Record option from the Driver Services box. 

You will be asked to agree to the Terms of Service and will then be asked to enter the information of the individual whose driving record you are requesting. This can be your own information or another individual's. 

Ordering for myself vs ordering for another individual

After entering all of the identifying information, you will be asked if you are ordering for yourself or another individual. 

Helpful Tips:

• If you are ordering for another individual, you will be asked to provide your organization, business, or third-party name, as well as the intended use for the record you are requesting. A list of accepted intended uses is made available for you to choose from.
• If you are requesting your own record, you can only order one record per transaction.
• If you are requesting the record of another individual, you can order up to ten records per transaction.

Completing your payment

Once you have completed the ordering process, you will add your record order to your cart. After all your record requests have been added to your cart, proceed to check out. Remember that if you are ordering a record for yourself, you can only order one per transaction, and if you are ordering another individual’s record you can order up to ten per transaction.
