Credit/Debit Card Payments
After your payment is complete, you'll receive an email confirmation receipt, and a receipt will be stored in the Receipts section of your profile. Click the profile icon located in the top right-hand corner of your myNCDMV account, and select the Receipts tab to view all of your receipts for payments made through the app.
If you need a new copy of your receipt, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bank Account/e-Check Payments
Due to the processing time of ACH/e-Check payments made with bank accounts, the DMV has a 10-day waiting period before clearing funds and shipping registration. Your "myNCDMV Renewal" receipt email will be delivered 10 days after the order date, and your new registration card and tags will arrive in the mail 7-10 days later.
If you haven't received the "myNCDMV Renewal" receipt email after 10 days, please send your license plate number to email@example.com or call the Support Team at 800-268-9153.
