Change the email address on your profile

You can use the steps listed below to change the email address on your profile in myNCDMV:

Note: If you sign in using the social sign on options (Facebook, Google, Apple) you will not be able to change your email with these steps. Contact myncdmv@payitgov.com for more assistance.

 

 1. Log in to myNCDMV.

2. Select the profile icon located on the top-right hand corner of your webpage.

3. Scroll down to the section that contains your Payit Profile Information and click the Edit link located above your email address.

4. Enter and confirm your new email address, then click Save.

5. You will receive an email confirmation at your new email address.

Note: If you receive a failure notification, there may be an account already associated with the email address. In this case, contact myncdmv@payitgov.com for more assistance.
