Where is my renewal notice?

The NC DMV mails a vehicle Renewal Notice to the address of record. If you did not not receive the notice by mail, you can look up the vehicle information on your MyDMV account. 

  • Visit MyDMV.
  • Enter your License/ID number, date of birth, and required identification number.
  • Once logged in, you'll find the renewal notice on the bottom right-hand side of the screen.

Linked vehicles will be listed along with the plate number, last five digits of the title number, and any renewal bills. To pay, see Renew vehicle registration and pay property taxes.
